Mike’s leadership fueled THE GYM’s multi-million dollar renovation and expanded its services through Strand Salon Studios. Known for his open-door approach, Mike is a steady, approachable presence focused on creating a top-tier fitness experience where every member feels valued. If you ever have big-picture feedback or ideas about the club, Mike is always ready to listen.

Dave Callari brings 20+ years of fitness industry experience to THE GYM. As Director of Trainer Development, he mentors the training staff to ensure members get the best support possible. Certified through NASM and Precision Nutrition, Dave is passionate about elevating both trainers and member experiences—and he’s always ready for a friendly chat on the floor. If you’re not sure which trainer or program is the best fit for you, Dave is the perfect person to ask.

For over 13 years, Frances Frierson has kept THE GYM’s financial operations running smoothly. As Finance and Account Manager, she’s all about efficiency and support—while never turning down a good cookie! A former Baking and Pastry major, Frances believes in balance: a healthy lifestyle can definitely include a sweet treat. If you have questions about billing, memberships, or account details, Frances is your go-to for quick help.

For nearly 15 years, Nurit Chasman has led the Group Fitness program at THE GYM. She oversees the schedule, hires instructors, and teaches classes like Pilates, Barre, Strength, and HIIT. Known for leading by example, Nurit sets a high bar for quality and energy in every session. She also helps drive our social media, capturing the spirit of our community online. At home, she enjoys creating healthy, colorful meals—especially sweet treat alternatives. If you’re unsure which class fits your goals, Nurit is the one to help guide you.

Klea Sovjani wears many hats at THE GYM, from Head of Operations to Customer Service Manager and in-house HR. Starting here at 17, she’s built deep connections across the team and membership. Klea is known for making every member feel like part of the family—remembering names, celebrating milestones, and keeping the energy upbeat and welcoming every day. If you need help with membership questions, guest policies, or simply have a suggestion, Klea is always ready to listen and support.

As General Manager, Dave Zicchinella oversees day-to-day operations to keep everything running smoothly. A lifelong believer in the importance of fitness, he helps members build consistency and healthy habits. Dave thrives on personal connection, learning from every conversation—and he’s the go-to person for anything from membership questions to music playlists.
